DP World Tour golfer Andrea Pavan is recovering after falling three floors down an elevator shaft in South Africa.

Jon Rahm’s Ryder Cup future is suddenly hanging by a thread. The DP World Tour has drawn a firm line ahead of the 2026 season, offering conditional releases to eight LIV Golf players.

In a move that further eases tensions between the DP World Tour and LIV Golf, the European circuit announced early Saturday that eight members have been granted “conditional releases” to play LIV events in 2026.

The DP World Tour have an agreement with eight golfers that will allow them to avoid fines for missing events that conflict with LIV Golf. Rahm is not among them.
